I like the really old school ones such as Rat Race, Bank Raid and Masterspy. These cost 2p to play and paid out two pounds.
Generally I enjoy machines that use a monopoly theme. I live in America these days and the slots here are very different.

The one at my work, you put 40p in and you can have an orange, an apple or even a pear on a good day.
Stay away from slot machines unless you know how they work and how likely they are to pay out, if you play one at random it is probably programmed to pay out about 60-80%, depending on the law, but some are set as low as 40%, go to the casino and put all your money on red or black, not as much fun but much better odds.

i like the older ones, crystal maze and oh ah dracula types but am also enjoying the touch screen bullseye one in my bookies and the touch screen elvis top 20 one in the over 18's section in local arcade, although the latter one does like to eat your money it is fun if you can afford it
