Your cat will probably be fine, it may even be good for him/her. It's good that you have someone coming over to feed and water him, but you should also ask them to stick around for a bit and play with your cat, give him cuddles or what ever. That way your cat won't be quite so stressed and lonely when you get home. You know what they say....distance makes the heart grow fonder. Good luck!

Animal are actually like children, if he was always accompany by someone he will grew to become very dependent.
So you need to start training your cat to be less dependent on people as the time goes it will be more independent. Do it slowly, eventually your cat will get use to being alone but you must always remember to feed him and took great care of him. As you know there's still a very wide gap between animal and human. Hopes that's help, your cat is just fine. :-)

Cats are great when we have to go somewhere for whatever reason. They can adapt very well if there is plenty of food, water, and a couple of litter boxes left for them. If you are worried about separation problems, leave your radio on to a talk station so he hears voices and he is not alone. Your cat will be just fine. I just came back from vacation and my 5 cats did just fine.
Enjoy yourself, kitty will do fine.

The cat will be fine. Make sure you have enough foor and water out for the cat.
I leave my cat home alone for a week at a time. I usually miss her so much. When I get home then she is very affectionate and wants to get on my lap and be petted. If I was home she would avoid me.

He will be fine. I left my cat for 2 nights before and i've had her for under a year at the time and she did fine. Just make sure you leave plenty of food and water, and a clean litter box so you don't come home to any mess. :)

He will be just fine. That is the nice thing about cats. You can leave them and they survive. Just make sure he has plenty of food and water along with a clean litterbox and you will come home to a happy cat.

My cat has huge separation anxiety issues. I've left him for long weekends and just had someone come in and check on him. He always does fine and gets over it. He'll be fine.

Cat's are very independent. Plus they don't have a sense of time like we do. He should be fine for 4 days. Maybe get a ticking alarm clock and put it under your pillow so he can lay there and it will be like hearing your heartbeat. That's what they do when puppies are taken out of their litters to help them at night.

he will be fine. in fact, cats are good about only eating and drinking what they need, so in all honesty, if you leave a few water dishes out and pleanty of food, nobody really needs to check up on him. but if he needs attention that much, you could have someone bring him home with them until you come home, or bring him to a profesional kennel.
