LOL @ the responses. Yep.. marriage will do it to ya. I gained 40 pounds in 17 years of marriage and took half of it off after the divorce. I think it's the comfort factor. You're probably less active but still eat the same or vice versa. Have a good hard look at how your lifestyle changed since you married and you'll probably spot rightaway where the problem is. Oh.. and yes, 30 mins of sex will knock off about 100 calories :-))))

The same thing happened to me. I have been doing Weight Watchers and Curves and it has been melting off. I have lost 16 lbs in 3 months, I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but it really is. You just need to find something that works for you and that will keep the weight off. Forget about all of these "fad diets", etc. They never work, because once you get all of your weight off, you have to keep it off, and most of those diets are not healthy enough for you to do them long-term. Diet and excersize is what you need to focus on and smaller portions is key. I am a BIG eater (meat & potatoes kind of girl) and I am also a HUGE procrastinator (sp?) so if I can get the weight off than anyone can. Weight Watchers is great and has helped me tremendously in getting portions down. Excersize is also key and you cannot lose a significant amount of weight without it. Curves has been great because the work out is short (30 min) but equivalent to 2.5 hour work-out. Good luck to you!

Cut out all juices, pops, and icecream. One cookies, and not two if you're out. Stop buying cookies, cakes, and other sweet things if you can help it for your house.

Cut your butter portions in half. And if it's margarine, change to butter.

Cut your starches in half, and eat more vegetables. Eat as much raw fruit and vegetables as you want. Stop snacking on crackers and bread. Add some salt to celery or carrots if you crave something salty.

Park your car in the farthest spot from the entrance to the mall. The extra steps will add up. Take the stairs and not the elevator.

The smallest things can be the easiest to change, will last a lifetime, and will also help you lose weight and keep it off instead of some crash diet which you feel guilty every time you sneak in extra food.

Yeah... that happens. Priorities change when there is another person involved in your life; kids will do it too!

Two products that worked really well for my wife were Lipodrene with Hoodia, it gives her the energy she needs to keep pace with the children and Hoodia to suppress her appetite. She was starting to stress eat, but the Hoodia helped a lot.

We also use STACK. Weight-Loss was a pound a day, within 36 hours!!! Now, a good half dozen of our friends are using STACK too. All of them, 100%, have lost weight; all withing the first week.

Right there with ya! Been married 2 years and gained about 20 lbs. I'm having trouble too, but my husband and I have decided to work on it together and start eating better and getting daily workouts in. Even if it is just going for a walk together in the evening. Good luck.....just know there are a lot of us in the same boat with you. :)

Welcome to the married-hood. I have been married for 6 years and gained roughly 45 pounds. I am 26. You just a have to stay focused and work out and not eat all of the high calorie, greasy, fried foods that your spouse may eat. I am doing all of the above and have lost about 10 in the last 6 weeks. You can do it, if you just stay focused. Try getting your spouse involved.

Join Weight Watchers. I'm being serious. It's easy, and the best way to loose the weight. I've lost 30 lbs in the first 2 months.

Have you checked into possible health problems that could be causing you to gain weight? When my son was born 3 years ago I couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing the weight. I was also feeling tired, sluggish, and iritable. Finally my doctor diagnosed me with Hypothyroidism. It may be something worth checking into. Good Luck

Get divorced. No I am only kidding. Go to your Dr. they may have something to help or send you to a dietitian. I also heard sex was a good way to loose weight, of course you are married and married people don't do that.
