Because faith/trust is believing in something you cannot prove. You sit on a wooden legged chair and have 'faith' it will support you. In reality termites could have eaten the wood and weakened it............but you sit out of faith/trust. Thank God that Jesus is not a wooden chair. Termites cannot weaken him. :-)

Um can you repeat that in english?
The fact is (and I'm trying to decipher your abominable english here) that the myth of "jesus christ" was made up by the council of Nicea in ad 325. They used two brothers, Jesus the Rabbi and Judas Khrestus as the basis for thier new deity. The two became one and was renamed Jesus Krestus, modernly, Jesus Christ.
He never was a real person. Just an amalgam of two guys who were persecuted by the Romans.
Isn't history fun?

Non believers simply accept the obvious - Gods are creations of the human imagination.

There's nothing more absurd than holding the opinion that living organisms must be the product of an intelligent designer, and at the same time believing that this infinitely more amazing character who can design and create an entire universe himself just exists undesigned and uncreated.

It is easy to believe in my ancestors as my existence is proof of a long history of reproduction that ultimately resulted in me. There is no credible evidence that either Jesus or any supernatural agencies, such as a god, exist. Jesus is just another example of the resurrecting god myth that was common in the Middle East at that time. Other examples include Osirus, Attis, and Tammuz.

I believe In Jesus and yes it's based on faith. that's what religion is. how could God test if you are worthy of eternal life if he gave you the proof and also why is it that you people need proof to understand something. waking up every day and feeling God's loving embrace around me is enough proof to me. I pray for you unbelievers I hope you can find the narrow path that leads to the Gate

I most certainly do. I feel very very sorry for those who don't and I pray for them for God loves them also. Jesus has helped me through impossible situations. For all things are possible through him. Even saving some of the people on here that slam him and make fun of him or deny his existence. I hope they see the truth before there standing before him in judgement. Then it will be too late for another chance. God Bless us all.

While it is easy to get frustrated with peoples mockery and scorn regarding our faith in Jesus, we have to remember not to return evil for evil. Jesus showed nonbelievers and scoffers His goodness by loving the unlovable, He was actually tougher on the religious who were suppose to know better. It takes the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of them that do not believe, so instead of trying to convince them by words, allow yourself to be used by God in prayer and in love towards those who scoff. Be blessed.

I don't deny that a man named Jesus could have once existed and had a bunch of followers, but I don't buy that he was the son of God (there were several men claiming to be the son of God back then) and the miracles and all that.
