I like this guy but he likes someone else and the girl he likes is dating someone. Yeah I guess I could ask him out because he couldn't ask her out because she has a boyfriend but what if he says no?

Even if he says no at least you know you tried. It would be worse to always wonder what would have happened if you had asked him then to know either way right now.

I would suggest you forget any guy who is already dating someone else.
Move on, and look for a guy who is unattached, and isn't already crazy about someone else.
It would also be a good idea to wait until some guy asks *you* to go out. It saves a lot of grief and protects your rep a whole lot better. You don't want to become known as a "chaser" ... some guys will take that as being "easy".
Good luck finding the right guy, Katie ... he is not it!

There is nothing wrong asking anybody out. Life is about risks, and since you like this guy, go ahead and ask him. Rejection is not a good thing and nobody wants to deal with that. Be honest with him but don't tell him everything just yet. Tell him that you like him and you guys can be friends. Be casual when you ask him out. You could tell him "I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies with me sometime." If he says no, at least you'll know how he feels about you. There are plenty of guys out there who would love to go out with you. Go for it and ask. Who knows? Anything can happen.

i went through the same stuff. it kills when he talks about her but u have to be there as a friend for him and hope he moves on to someone else hopefuly u. this usaly works cause he willl start to see all ur good qualitys. he will also know he will always have u as a friend first and for most. that will be a good thing for him and u. so don't worry he will sone like u.

You should be asking What if he says Yes."?
You already know he likes someone else;
you would be setting yourself up as his "chicken" when what he wants is "steak".
Why waste your time and self-esteem on this guy, when you are perfect as another guys "steak"?
Which guy is that...well you won't ever find
him Mr.Right, if you are dating Mr.Wrong.
Leave this guy alone, and stay unattached until you find the one who will be as crazy about you and you will be about him from the start.

if he doesn't like u there is no point to even ask him out ..coz it has to be a mutual agreement if u ask him out he might say yes but after sometimes he would be the first one to dump u so stay away and let him ask u out befor u get dump
