it's hard for me to gain weight ... i have a small appetite so eating like a pig will make me feel sick. i have chicken boney legs and boney arms... i'm 20 but look 13.... What should i eat!?

go to a health store and get protein shakes or ask for bars to help you gain the weight you desire

Back in the 60's my brother had the same problem.. Dr. had my mother buy a big jar of malt and the kid had a malt every night.. also my dad feed him the dark bock beer.. Dont laugh the kid gained 2 to 21/2 lbs a week..Now days you can go to the store and get some hi protine drink, just made for that..Hows about a sunday with chol topping about a 1/2 hr before bed..Slow down dont burn the fat off.. Dats it kidd-o LOL ROB

i had the same problem as you. i was 5'11, weighed 150. i started lifting weights when i was 23, and my appetite started increasing, and eventually i gained 35 pounds of mostly muscle. took me over a year to do it, but yeah, it was definitely worth it. you have to consume at least 1.5-2 grams of protein per pound of body weight to really bulk up. best way is through protein shakes. my favorite brand is muscle milk. it mixes well with water or milk. try lifting weights a lot and getting a lot of protein. i promise you'll put on some weight.

Snack, and eat healthy fats.

Avocado slices in your sandwich

Dip some bread in olive oil (cold olive oil is much better then after is has been heated or used for cooking)

For a snack dip some apple slices or celery in peanut butter.

Eat lots of salmon

Just because you are trying to gain weight, isn't any reason to stop eating healthily.

you're going to have to eat quite a bit and not healthy food lol. If you eat healthily go for seconds. And just train your stomach to take in more. Just a warning it might hurt a bit. After I had not eaten for 2 weeks straight my stomach shrunk and well that wasn't cool because the hospital made me eat and i was in so much PAIN.

Maybe grazing would be a good idea for you. eat throughout the day.

try using something like ensure in addition to your regular diet. it will add calories and protien to make you gain some weight
