Red is a stimulating color. It warms and activates, energizing the base chakra and awakening our physical life force. Red strengthens the physical energy and the will of the individual. It can be used for colds and mucus ailments. red can also be used to raise the body's temperature and to energize the blood, which helps in treating poor circulation. Red stimulates deeper passions, such as sex and love, hatred and revenge, and courage.
Too much red can overstimulate and aggraavate conditions. High blood pressure is an indication of too much red energy within the system. It can awaken awareness of past-life talents and ease fears.
