is there really a point for christian kids from ages 8 to 15 to be dating

Christians shouldnt date at all because it may lead to them reproducing and we dont want that.

Well, my parents were both Christian teens and they met each other at around age 13, dated, and got married at age 17/18. Just because you date doesn't mean you have to have sex. But, 8 might be a little too young for anyone to date!!! :)

Not for kids of any faith, or non-faith.
We moved to the midwest, recently, and learned of the kids here dating in elementary school. I just about had a cow.
Turns out, "dating", here, means sitting together at lunch.
I can live with that. ;>

not if ur 8, if ur 15 to 20 then just date, have safe sex tho. After 20, no need to ask.
