You can get your hair chemically straightend, its called Japenese Straightening. It does take a few hour to have done, depending on how long your hair is. Also with this process your hair becomes very flat and with no body to your hair. When your roots start to grow out you will notice a big difference if you have very wavy hair and will have to get it done again.

You can permanently straighten you hair with a chemical straightener. It is kind of a reverse perm, however it is only premanent for the hair that is treated. That means as your hair grows you will have to have the new growth straightened to keep the look.
Also the chemicals used are harsh on the hair so for best results go to a salon. It is easy to damage the hair badly when you don't know what you are doing.
Maybe someday they will be able to change hair from the DNA to be anything you want (wouldn't that be great) but til then you only have a semi permanent solution.

You can get it straightened, there are many ways of doing that, but you can't change the way your hair grows out of the scalp. Also once it is straightened it will stay that way, but any new hair that comes in will not be straightened. Depending how fast your hair grows and how often you get haircuts, will depend on the time your hair stays straightened.

Unfortunally you can't have it permantly straightened. If your hair is natuarally wavy then it will just keep growing back wavy... But you can just keep getting it straightened if you want to. I say probably every six months unless your hair grows faster....Well hope that helps..

No. Because they are straightening the hair permanently but when they grow longer the hair from roots are again natural. You again need to go for hair straightening until you are growing hair.

Just like any hair style issues, the problem is that your hair is constantly growing and its natural style or color will eventually grow in. Go see a good hair stylist who can help you work with what you have. Sometimes a great haircut is what you need to minimize the things you don't like about your hair!

Yep, but it damages your hair.
Buy a curling iron and work with your wave to create a nice set of curly hair.
