The trick is to keep breathing

It's most def. a hard thing to survive, ecspecially if it was a long, deep relationship. You can let yourself be sad and think about it for a day or two, but after that, you should put it behind you and move on. Pamper yourself, get a hair cut, hair color, pedicure/manicure. Go all out. It will make you feel better. And if money is tight, just dress up. It always works. Treat yourself the way you deserve.. just think... now you can move on to bigger, better things!

try not to think about him
avoid places where u two hung out
avoid things u two did together until ur over him
when u feel like calling him or seeing him talk to a friend instead
dont try to get over him with a new guy...u will get the he wont be like ur ex so hes not for u
avoid romance as much as possible
dont ponder over the past
met new people to make friends
try somthing new...like a new hobbie
try and make friends with him...it will help u realize its over
and if ur not sure its over yet...than talk to him and see if he still has feelings for u and if u like him u can try and make it work again if u want it to.

Keep your chin up. Get back to who really are. Go out with your girlfriends and indulge yourself a little bit. It is hard at first, but you will you come to find that you are destined for better things, and you really didn't need him anyway. Have some fun and don't dwell.

Time is definetly the best. It will hurt a lot at first, but it DOES get better. And keep yourself busy. Find things that you enjoy that will keep your mind off of it.

i survived my divorce, i moved home with my two kids b/c i had nothing, slowly things picked up for me and i have my own place again - my own life....its a slow process, it just takes time, get out and meet new people, try new things, it helps to not keep yourself shut up inside

Do anything possible to keep you from thinking of the other person. Keeping busy is a real good antedote. And don't do anything or go any where that might remind you of that person

go out and flirt with someone new, a rebound you could say. Knowing you can/will/do deserve attention is very healing.
