if you were to read Genesis 1 :24-26 you will see that
God made the living creatures 1st BUT in 26 it says
that God made MAN in his image,likeness.
Therefore we are not brothers to the gorilla, but to
Adam since we are made in God's image just as
Adam was & the gorilla WAS NOT

Clearly Genesis 1 is saying gorillas, and Genesis 2.7 is saying Adam

Considering that Genisis is a Jewish retelling of a Sumarian creation myth assimilated by the Babalonians and passed onto the early Jews who were their slaves. The answer would never be Adam or Gorilla.
Here are the reasons.
Adam is a Jewish name, and not a Sumarian one.
Man evolved from Apes, not Gorillas.
Here is a question for you to ponder.... What is the Gilgamesh Epic, and why is it important in relation to the Torah?
BTW.... The Torah is the Old Test. in your made up religion.
