i couldn't find it even though i found the flagship of the other 4 fleets

Is it the naval cruiser Northhampton?

I don't think it really has one. The 5th fleet encompasses the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and portions of the Indian Ocean. I don't think that there are any ships homeported in Bahrain, which is about the only navy base in that area. Ships on deployment from the west coast generally just take turns patrolling around the 5th fleet, each deployment cycle relieving the next one. My ship even went up into the Gulf in 2003, and it's stationed on the east coast. Also, when we were on deployment, our chain of command changed depending on where we were. In the Atlantic, we answered to the commander of the 2nd fleet. When we crossed through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean Sea, we answered to the commander of the 6th fleet. Then, when we navigated the Suez Canal into the Red Sea, we came under the Command of the 5th fleet.
