I change doctors frequently due to the doctors inability to work within medicaid constraints. They do not give me pain medication, regardless of its necessity, and therefore tell me I am NOT in pain. The worst of all is their noncompliance to document anything for my ssi claim or to even review my medical records. I am of the opinion that no one short of my psychologist and mental health therapist and, of course, my attorney cares anything about my ssi claim. Also, since I am on medicaid, I am told I have to make an appointment to review and make copies of my medical records; an appointment that is not covered by medicaid and as a result, I will be billed for the visit.

and the next thing to do is search the lists below. You can get the help you need, but it is up to you to do the work. We are trying to get ssi for our 19 year old disabled grandson, and it is very hard work.
