i will be traveling to nova scotia on vacation and i want to make sure that the area is safe for me and my family

there is a national registry, but it isn't open for anybody to look at becuase of privacy rights. But just a little advice, watch your children as you would at home. Remember that people are mobile, just because some online registry says that joe the sex offender lives on 4th street doesn't mean that he is always there! I think that you will find N.S. very safe.

wouldnt the sex offenders registry in Canada be the local phone book? I know a few people in Canada and they have told me that sex crimes are like the national past time. I do not know this as fact just what others have told me.
