I am 145 pounds and I should be in the low 120's.I play soccer and I'm a cheerleader but nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP!!

dont take pills
its the worst you could do for your body at your age.
if you take pills or stop eating then u might as well kiss chearleading and soccer goodbye. It is not healthy!
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

Hi doogle, at 13 years old it is not really safe to go on any serious kind of diet, unless of course its approved by your docter. Its good that you are active and Im sure that is helping keep you healthy. If your so active perhaps its a matter of intake.

How much food you eat, what kind of foods you eat. If you are going to have a snack, try to eat fruit or vegetables. Try not to eat anything heavy past 6pm, and try not to eat anything past 8pm period. If you think you eat alot on each sitting, try saving 3 or 4 bites on the plate for each of your meals.

But remember, everyone has a sort of "natural weight" and its hard to move too far from it, especially when your 13-16. As long as you are active and healthy, and arent eating way too much food or really bad stuff. Than chances are you are doing fine. Try to be comfortable with you weight, dont feel like you HAVE to loose weight right now. You are only 13, maybe just try to see if you can keep your weight the same over the next 4-5 years, because you will be getting alot taller.

Stop worring about your WEIGHT.....it is your BMI that is important. It is a measurement of the % fat on your body. When I was running marathons I weighed 145 pounds and was in the best shape of my life. At that time I had a BMI of 13%. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat. If you are concerned go and have your BMI calculated. Your doc or a PT can do this.

How tall are you first of all?
Just keep up with what you are doing over the summer, and lower the junk intake. You are still growing, they are proably baby fat.

just watch what u eat. eat the right foods ie raw veggies&fresh fruits. have lean meats& toned milk ,whole grain breads.say no to fried stuff,junk foods,processed foods,sweets.drink plenty of water.&exercise
