My Mom is trying to make the neighbors mad - they complaine dto the county that her paint is peeling on the house and now she has a week to repaint - she's trying to find the most obnoxious color she can to paint the house (she doesn't mind having it any color just so she can make these people mad). All the couty said was that it had to be repainted, nothing about what color.

I agree with the flame orange (hunters orange). If you live in a rural area you can claim that it will make your house more visible from the woods. I am also looking into some glow in the dark paint/powder to coat some deer skulls with to adorn the place. Also, don't forget lots of those solar path lights, only tape over a lot of the solar cells (but not the dark sensor) so the battery runs low and they flash and flicker all night.

I agree with the pink make it florescent pink and paint the trim florescent purple it will vibrate against each other that should shut up the neighbors. I really wonder why anyone should have the right to dictate others property. If I want to paint my house in stripes or dye my dog green or hang giant bugs in my front yard its no ones business but my own. If you want to control others lives move to North Korea or some other communist country

Not pink. I once coloured an inside wall bright orange. When the sun hit, it would blind you. And there's nothing more annoying than being blinded. If your neigbours look at it all day, they'll get severe headaches too. And besides, pink walls are common in southern Germany for example. I've never seen an orange house as yet. Make sure you get the most vivid tone though - maybe with a bit of aluminum too to add to the effect.
Oh and if you use stripes of multiple bright colours, as fine as you can get them, you can also make them dizzy.

There is a house in our town that was painted the colors of the Reeses Pieces bag, you know the deep brown and the bright orange. But for the best mileage go for a Purple or Chartreuse.

Hmmm.. lets see. The town I grew up in had a tan house with dark brown polka dots and another house that was bright yellow with lime green trim and the last seven slats of wood at the top of the house were the color of the rainbow.

My favority color is lime green. I'm guessing that you live in a housing plan that is managed by a home association. They can be crazy! If it is not real expensive, you should try to put an ice sculpture of a naked man in the front yard. That would really infuriate the neighbors.

There's a house where I live, in the country. It's pink with purple trim. It's the most obnoxious looking house ever! It's almost like a landmark. Not real sure if it was a joke, or if they think it looks nice... Either way, pink with purple trim is a sure bet!

I saw a house once that was electric blue and another that was like a jeweled purple. I think she should paint the whole house bright red. That ought to piss a few people off and get some attention.

Unless you're in florida or the islands, I'm going with Peptobismal Pink or Street Cone Orange.
