Im tryin to get rid of my tummy. I have a daugther and I failed to try and tighten up my belly after I had her. Some say that if a women doesnt tighten up her belly right after child birth that the organ on the inside fall forward and its then hard to tighten your stomach.
Well my daughter is 12 so its be a while.

I want to lose about 25 pounds. I was hoping that this would help in gettin my tummy smaller.

I was wondering what I would need to do to get my stomach trim and slim.. Im about a 38 waist.
I was also wonder if I would have excess skin afterwards... is there a way to get rid of that or would I have to get a tummy tuck?

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

How to get Started:Decide how much you want to loose and see how many calories a day it will take to make it happen by year's end.Then, work into your routines however many of these eating tweaks and exercises you need to achieve your goal.
Slash 250 cal.s a day to lose about 25 lbs. in a year, Slash 500 cal.s to loose 50 pounds.
This is based on a 150-pound person: you may need to cut more/ fewer calories depending on ur weight, age & gender. It also assumes your normal calorie intake essentially stays the same and your weight is stable.

3.Be a Ballerina - As ur coffee drips, stand sideways, put 1 hand on the counter, and lift the outside leg straigh out in front of u, keeping it extended. With upper body straight, hold for a few sec.s and move it to the side: hold and extend it behind u. Do 5x on each leg. BURNS 10
4. Talk It UP - Every time u grab the phone, stand up & pace around. BURNS 50
5. Carry Some Weight - When ur grocery Shopping/ running erands, wear a backpack with 5-10 lbs bag of sugar inside to increase resistance & burn more calories. Add purchases to ur load as it becomes easier. BURNS 20 (FOR AN HOUR OF ERRANDS)
6.Pump at the Pump - While ur getting gas, With 1 hand on ur car, Stand on the balls of ur feet & slowly rise up & down for as long as it takes to fill ur tank. BURNS 10

I have the same problem. There's nothing you can do to tighten your skin but you can definitely firm up the muscles under the skin and even though you will still have some bulge you should see a signifcant difference. The best workout for firming your core muscle group is pilates. I have seen tremendous results myself. Don't spend the money on classes, I use a couple different dvd's and a mat I bought at walmart in my own living room. The exercises are going to be tough at first but don't give up. When I first started I had such a hard time. I wanted to cry because I was so out of shape, especially after a baby. After a few weeks you should start feeling your muscles become stronger and the exercises will get easier. To lose the excess fat though you are going to have to do some cardio. Running gave me the best results but even just walking, or working up to running, should do it. You need to go every day first thing in the morning. No excuses. Get up an hour earlier if you have to. Cardio exercise gives your metabolism a boost and keeps it up all day long, even if you are just sitting. Therefore by starting your day with exercise you are burning more calories during the day. Don't eat anything 3 hours before bed, no matter what. Your metabolism slows greatly so anything you eat before bedtime is going to be stored rather than burned. You will probably feel hungry but if you can ignore that hunger your body will go to your fat storage for energy throughout the night. Well its true that after pregnancy women get a tummy but u heard it wrong that u cant reduce it.
Exersixing and keeping a healthy life will make u slimmer and beautifull.
Join a reputed gym and ask for exersixes which will help u to reduce stomach.
Remember yr tummy didnt grow in a day so its not going to reduce in a hurry too.
So have patience, control yourself to eat junk foosds and oily foods. Look to drink more and more water.

Any cardiovascular exercise is going to help you lose the weight. The trick is to find something you enjoy, so you are more likely to stick with it! The sooner you begin, the sooner you will loss the weight. I'm a mom of three under three, so I didn't have time to exercise inbetween pregnancies... considering I was basically pregnant for three years in a row!!! My youngest will be three next week. I began running (which I love to do) about a year ago & the baby fat is gone. Here is another idea, if you don't like traditional exercise... my mother-in-law began belly dancing lessons last December for exercise. She goes with a few friends every week & has so much fun with it!!! She has lost weight too.

The good news is...you definitely can loose your tummy. The bad news is....there really are no tricks or gimmicks that will accomplish this for you. Simply put, it's all about diet and exercise. Consume fewer calories through your diet, and burn off more calories with some form of exercise or by just being more active. The most difficult aspect of loosing weight is that it requires a life-style change. It's worth it!!! Good luck.

Fast with only fruits, veggies, water and 100% juices (I am as we type) you can for three days but you will not see much weight loss or bennefits, you can for as long as you want but if longer then 21 days you will see big results every where, even in you thoughts! to tighten without worry of left over flab try walking 3 miles a day without fasting for two months. walk 1/2 mile to a mile a day and / or bike riding while fasting also you'll see results. check out the book "The Abs Diet" written by David Zinczenko who is an editor at Men's Health...... it's truly AWESOME and is a very manageable program! I'm in the middle of it now and can already tell a difference. You can order online @ theabsdiet.com and it's not very costly. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

try to exercise , skin will be back to normal if you loss weight in the healthy way which is exercising and eating healthy , drink lots of water and sleep well , Good luck
