Yes. When a mother has puppies she eats their poop to keep the area clean and smell down in case of predators. Dogs don't wipe up with rags and will eat the poop. She should stop once the puppies are old enough not to go where they sleep.

Your dog may just be tired - dont forget if we go through a traumatic time it can play around with our health.
if her gums are looking pale it means she is run down, take her to the vets and make sure whe is okay for definite - I think she may just be exhausted - i would be!
If she is still drinking try adn give her milky porridge oats or something smiliar or maybe even baby formula, just to keep her strength up a bit

dogs go through the same things as any woman does after having a baby. I suggest taking her to the vet if she doesn't start eating soon.

is she drinking water? if not, i'd take her to the vet. 6 days not eating isn't normal even if she just had puppies. try giving her some wet food. it could be something more serious.

It would be worth a trip to the vet. They can have all types of serious problems after giving birth. She sounds sick to me.

take her to your local vet. she can die if she does not eat. taking her to the vet and following their instructions, is really the only thing you can do for her. good luck.
