I've heard both sides of this, that it doesn't matter and that it does. I would say if you eat something small, like a sandwich or something like that, it would be better than possibly not sleeping well because you're hungry and the potential of overeating at breakfast the next morning.

Toast :), and the doctor told me not to eat or drink anything after 10pm, thats the usual time if your going for an op in the morning or anything, so I assume it would be the same for other reasons...

Well we've all heard different things, but I think it's not that you are eating, but what you choose to eat. Men's Health (fiance reads it, lol) says to have a bowl of cereal before bed. Just choose something healthy.

If you don't have a good exercise program none of this advice will work.I lift weights and train juijitsu. I'm 36 and I eat WHENEVER I can"not" WHATEVER I can.To keep lean body mass you have to keep your metabolism in high gear!So this means exercise!! Oh yeah, lots of water

I'd eat something with a lot of protein. Yogurt, cottage cheese, regular cheese. They'll keep you fuller longer, and will even help you sleep.

I have not heard that, but I have heard that it's not great for your metabolism if you eat RIGHT BEFORE BEDTIME. So if you eat at 10PM but you don't go to bed until Midnight, that's fine.

not fruit, its all carbs, stay away from carbs, eat proteins, because carbs will take a long time to digest, and undigested carbs will turn into fat. so try to eat tuna or chicken, small portions
