It is good to hear that you at least wish to wait till you are 18 years of age. There is nothing wrong with going out on dates with this boy as long as you stick to your promise to your self of no sex.

Why not... most are dating from 14/15 onwards and sexaully active on average 16-18...
So of course go out with him... how old ar BOTH of you?

i dated a guy when i was 17 and he was 24. Didn't really work out, just too different from each other. Maybe stick to your own age til you are older.
But obviously completely your choice!

Of course you can, going out doesn't necessarily mean you will ahve sex, in fact you should only have sex when you feel that it is right.
