First, you need to see a doctor to confirm if you are actually pregnant. Second, you need to discuss with your doctor if carrying this child is in your best interest with your medical problems. Third, this is a responsiblity that is yours for life. What choices you make now, whatever it may be, will be something that you will have to live with. Babies dont always pick the best times to come, but we have to learn to adapt and make the most of it. If we were all emotionally and financially stable when we had our first child the population would be alot lower. I am sure you are alot stronger and emotionally capable than you give yourself credit for. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

well think about it..smoking is bad for anyone, now you're passing it on to your child..also not good. I do know people that have smoked while pregnant and everything is ok though, I personally never have smoked and never will(I have 3 kids). As for riding rides at an amusement park, well normally everything would be ok b/c there is a bag of waters to protect the child, especially since the child is so small right now, I'm sure there was absolutely no damage done. You also need to call a doctor right away and schedule an appointment. They will more than likely do an untrasound to estimate the due date and they can ease your mind by making sure everything is great with the baby.

OK first things first! You may or may NOT be pregnant. Find out! Go to the nearest Wal-Mart or Dollar Store and buy a test. There is no reason to be freaking out if your not pregnant. The next step, if you are pregnant, is to stop smoking! Don't worry too much about the rides because the baby is very well protected. Get to an OB/GYN as soon as you find out for sure that yes you are pregnant! It is really hard to give advise without knowing more of what is going on and your symptoms, like why you think your pregnant. As for not being ready emotionally or financially, no one ever is really ready. When I got pregnant with my first child I was the same way but things have a way of working out. We have things that we need for us and our two children and most of what they want. That commercial from Johnson & Johnson that says "Having a baby changes everything" is so true but, in my opinion, for the better. I didn't think that my hubby and I were ready but we have done just fine. And we both grew up very fast, as will you, if you are indeed pregnant.

Please don't worry about being pregnant until you know for sure!
Things like stress, an illness, or any number of things can affect your period. Hope this helps you!

calm down! it's ok- really! you need to go to your doctor and find out for sure if you are pregnate. if so this is a good thing, its a blessing and a gift from God! if you honestly don't think you can handle being a parent right now adoption is always an option- just becuase you have medical problems doesn't mean your baby will and there are alot of families out there that want a child and are more than willing and able to take on the responsibility of the baby and any medical problems that may come along. if you do not want to give your baby up for adoption, once you know for sure you are pregnate start now finding a way to cut your spending costs and start putting money in savings- i am sure both or one of you have family and friends and now is the time that you will need them the most. take this one step at a time and be greatful for the wonderful gift that God has given you and rely on him for your needs.

First of all find out for 100% sure if you are pregnant Second don't sweat riding the rides at the park. Babies have very good shock absorbers. Next if you are keeping this baby stop smoking now. The more oxygen that gets to the child the better. Have a long talk with you boyfriend about what involvement he wants to have. Then with all that information decide on what you want to do. Remember that it is your decision to make. There are a number of places that you can get information to help you make choices. Try to avoid anyone who has a religious ax to grind. Talk to someone who is a nurse or a doctor. They can be found at free clinics or planed parenthood centers. Do only what is right for you. No one else should be allowed to twist your arm or guilt trip you into doing anything you do not want to do. Good luck

My wife quit smoking each of her 3 pregnancies for the health of the fetus and started up again after our boys were born, stop now that you know and while the first tri-mester is important, each is equally as important. Any problems we may have already caused are too late to fix but adding more makes no sense. Stay active during this but avoid restrictions on your belly, such as amusement rides and be carefull with your seatbelts as well. Good luck and don't feel like you are alone in worrying about being ready, few are but life like birth is an experience and with it comes maturity. Best wishes and if you still doubt yourself, there are many help places to go, use them.

smoking aint a problem... my mom and my aunts smoked all the time when they were pregnant and everything is fine.... they say dont smoke while pregnant to reduce the possibility of premature babies and the riding rides.... I'd go to the doctor and make sure everything is fine. I wish the best for you..... and I'll keep you in my prayers. by the way... congrats.

Sorry to say this but you should have used protection if you are not ready for a child. Now that you are pregnant deal with the fact that you have another person to take care.

you gotta switch from thinking about yourself all the time, to what is best for your new responsibility. Stop being selfish, and do what is right for the child, not yourself.
