Yes, in order to make your hair bleached, You stand to absolutely ruin your hair. Some people, like myself, just do not have the kind of hair that will go very light. You will regret it. You might want to try just doing highlights and doing it gradually, then when you have the very light highlights, put the pink die in it. It might have a really nice effect. You know, I saw a girl with brown hair have a few stripes of fire engine red in it and it looked really awesome.
Pink and black are kind of drastic colors and may not be very flattering, unless you work in the entertainment industry or work for a music store or something, I don't know how well it would go over. If you don't work at all and you dont' have to pay any bills, than dye away. You are young, you will make your hair mistakes as well.........

You need to get a professional consultation at a salon. Somewhere like JCPenney you can usually get someone to talk to you about it without charging you. They can tell you if your hair will get light enough for pink. Also the pink will probably fade out fast so you'll have to redo it a lot or its not worth it. You should have the bleaching done professionally and your hair won't be as damaged. Then you can do the color yourself but be very careful about it and wait about a week after the bleaching. Also professional products work so well. So many ppl think its a waste of money but I've seen firsthand the change in a persons hair when they switch from drugstore brands to salon brands. If your the kind of person who refuses to spend the money at least buy a good conditioning treatment. Not just conditioner but a treatment. If your hair is dry and brittle you need one with moisture. If it feels like spaghetti when its wet you need a protein reconstructor.

It is not worth it at all . First your hair will weaken and you will start losing hair. There is nothing wrong with having a different hair color now and then but to lose hair in order to get it pink , I'm sorry but I can't even imagine why you want to do that.
You have beautiful brown and thick hair if you want to change it have some high lights (light brown) it would look normal and great with your complexion . I don't know what complexion would go along with pink hair color.

If you use a high quality home product it wont harm your hair and use a good conditioner after each shampoo after your hair has been processed. Its always best to have a professional do something that involves taking darker hair to a much lighter color .There are temporary colors for this too Spray on colors so that if it doesn't look as good as you thought it would you can just wash them out. Do you have a Sally's Beauty Supply near where you live? They can help you in your choices. Good luck

when i was 15 i had long brown hair. and i decided it would be cool to have bleach blonde hair so i did just that. I was the only 15 year old boy in school with bleach blonde hair.. It looked cool but it was all dead. and felt like paper kinda haaha.. if you love your hair don't do it. But if your not that worried, it will grow back

First reaction: I would say don't do it. But if you really wanna go for it, then watch for detail care like having oil treatments more often. Smash a ripe avocado with olive oil, massage for scalp with it and use the rest on your hair, put on a plastic bag. Wait at least an hour and then wash it as always, use extra mild shampoo and conditioner. Do this at least once a week. Good luck

well it depends on how long you bleach it for. Don't leave the bleach in for longer than an hour and if you are worried about your hair being dry, don't bleach all of your hair just a part of it.

no
ive bleached my hair a couple times
for diff reasons
unless u plan on keeping that hair
for the rest of your life
than its not worth it
so when u do it
thnk to urself " how long am i gonna want this hairstyle"
because if its only temporary
theres no use in frying your hair out for it

ues makes your hair very dry and very damageing to your hair......just depends if you always have short hair style....then yes go for it.....but if you want long hair then don't.....it takes the protein out which is what hairs made of and you will always have to put that protein back into your bleached hair so it will be strong again .....its only hair so be yourself....it will always grow back ....its not your life at risk ...be you ...even if its pink and black...

It's worth it if it's done correctly. Go to a salon and have it done by a professional. You're going to damage your hair no matter what, might as well make sure that it's damaged correctly. After you've fried your hair, you'll want to make sure that you treat it very gingerly and deep condition it. Biolage makes a great deep conditioner.
I too speak from experience...
