My boss runs all over me, but I let her do it becasue I need this job. To pay bills and to go to college. But today it was the last straw. I have had it!!! I had to walk home in the f***in rain. I waited on them for 30 f***in minutes. I want to cuss her out soooo bad, but I don't want to lose my job. I need something to calm me down right now because I am about to snap. What do I do?

take a deep breath and do some yoga it will calm u down
and then try talking to ur boss about the problem u have with her

It is always hard to work for someone (if they are bad or unreasonable) for a paycheck. Yes, it is easy to just throw up your hands and quit. But since we need to pay our bills and put food on the table this option is not always the best choice. The way I deal with it is to tune it out. I keep happy thoughts and funny moments in my mind. Ask yourself this; if this (the vocal abuse, maddness, etc) does not matter in five years why let it work yourself up. Let it go, take several deep breath, and recompose yourself. Life is full of ups and downs, only you can decide how ride it out as smoothly as you can. I am no shrink but I can tell you that being in the work for almost 30 years I had my share of bad bosses and bad situations. Keeping cool and calm have saved me many times from turning a bad situation into an ugly one. I do wish you the best of luck.

Look for another job but don't quit until you get the job.
