Depends on what he is like...

****************

HERE IS THE TRUTH...

Just as he is 24 and you 16 does not mean he is a pervert or peado...

There are manipulative...

Most likley guys mautre slower then girls and if he was shy or nice the girls his age when your age would ahve seen him as gay brother, or he may not have been able to work out how to be bad boy enough for girls... Probably over protected by mum, maybe bullied.

Idiot parents told him not to date till older.

Then as a result the other guys got the girls he likes and he just got hurt, appeared needy and ended up in the ...

Cant date as no experience, no experience no dates trap...

So most likely a nice guy who likes you for you and is into the same stuff as you, and you have similar experience to him and single unlike all the girls his age in couples...

So he may be more likly to appreciate you...

In the UK the age of concent is 16 along with most of europe so should be legal...

And seen plenty in early twenties dating 16/17 year olds little different to those their own age or the girls...

And in these cases both the younger and older ones were mates... So I saw both friends happy for a while...

Massive difference between that and someoen deliberatley caluclating...

But you could have someone your age who is like thwat... Ie the bad boy virgin cherrie picker of the school.

Who is a total jerk.

You may drift apart, you may stay together.

Most likly you have done more then he has.

So go by what seems right not by what others say... If you two genuinely like each other go for it...dont listen to the others... it he appears to be controlling dont.

Everyone knows that Guys ( and I am One) are a little behind you girls. So I suggest that you find or wait for a guy about 18-19 at the most. You should be OK then, certainly on mental wave lengths. Plus of course a guy of 24 is gonna want what all guys of 24 want, ye know what I mean. Unless you feel you wanna just give it up to him.!! You are young, do the right, responsible and fashionable thing. Keep hold of it. The old fashioned contraceptive is the best you know. A paracetamol between the knees!!!!! Good luck in whatever you decide.

NO!!! 24 year olds have no business dating teenage girls it is illegal in most states and wrong. Stay away from him he is bad. If he really liked you he would have respect for you and not even try to start a relationship till you are 18 at least. You are both at different stages of life now. And should be looking for different things. This guy is only after one thing and he thinks the only way to get it is by dating a young girl. He is a pervert.

When i was 23 i went out with a 16 year old girl, we have now been married for 15 years.
Try to find out what sort of man he is before you make a decision, he could be after you for 1 reason only.

Its just a novelty really, and not worth it. Will he be happy doing the things a 16 yr old likes doing? Doubt it! So you'll have to act like a 24 yr old for him! Which makes the next 8 years for you pretty predictable. I used to want to grow up as fast as I could, and pretty much did. I now feel I missed out on my teenage years for it. Stick to guys around your own age 16-18, enjoy your youth, and the age group you are in!!!!!!!

Have you ever heard of statutory rape? The fact is that he could go to jail for having a relationship with you. The question you should be asking yourself is if you like him anyway. It doesn't matter what the other person thinks of you, it's what you think of them. However, I've got to say that you may want to rethink dating someone that much older than you at this age. The younger you are the bigger problem there is with dating an older person. It's really better for you psychologically to stick closer to your own age for dating right now.

Hi, NO ....this is a bad idea. You should be dating people that are still in school (minors-your own peer group). And he should be dating adults (18+) ....I know he might have more stuff going on for him (like a car & money& access to booze) but it's still wrong. If the two of you get intimate then he can go to jail- he should know better, you are still learning about life- this is an important life lesson...make the right choices & you'll be happy! good luck...

as a guy I would say no. I think there must be something wrong with him. If he is smart enough and likes you enough he will come back to you in a few years time you are only 16yrs. While you may think you know it all and are in control of your emotions your at an age where you could easily be manipulated. Get someone around your own age. P.s. You never said you like him ( doesn't matter anyway)

No. I am sure that he does like you but 24 is too old for you. Best be with someone closer to your own age who has had the same life experiences as you. 8 years difference in age wouldnt matter if you were 32 and he was 40, but for now its just not worth the trouble it could cause. Be happy with your own age group.
