If you have a legitimate reason for concern, ask at a Citizens Advice Bureau. Of course, a solicitor would also know.
P.S. reading other answers, my mind is not nasty enough in that I assumed you want to know what happens if somebody else is a paedophile. If you think you have yourself been seriously breaking any law go to a solicitor. If you are a paedophile I don't have any sympathy with you.

The fucker has more rights than the child he molested probably gets a cell with silk sheets and room service while being protected from the average Joe convict and when he gets out they'll buy him a house next to a playground !
It should be law that paedo's serve their time in the main prison population , those who actually got out would never dare risk prison again .

I don't know but I know they will try to take anything you or anyone in your house that could have child porn on it.
And they can find stuff even if you deleted it. I already tested it out my self. Because in the world of PC's nothing can be truly deleted.
If your seriously in any from of trouble i suggest you stop anyhow because no one likes Pedos but get rid of the Hard Drive. I don't even think reformatting will work.

Same as if arrested for any other offence. Taken into cells, questioned and charged then either taken into custody or released on bail or released with no charge.
