well.. i can't tell you how cause i am a guy but i can share what my girlfriend does when she "give me head" Ready? are u writting this down? hehhe
1. start slow, don't dive down right away! kiss him all around and avoid the spot he is looking and waiting for. This will drive him crazy (in a good way). When you get all the way down to where u need to be. go to step 2

Use your hand on the shaft and mouth the top portion. You don't need to deep throat it.
Go up and down and kind of around at the same time with the hand. With the mouth you kinda do the same thing. Sometimes they like a little "teeth" action when you gently rub the tip with your teeth only once in awhile though.

Weird answer - read up on it. There's a great book called "Blow Him Away" you can get from Amazon, or your local bookstore. There are other books on the same subject. Go to your bookstore and browse through the sexuality or self-help section, and you'll find those books. They have good tips, and can really help.
Also, don't do anything you're not comfortable with. You'll resent it later if he's pressuring you into anything. If it's something you want to do, go to the bookstore, grab a chair, and read up.

practice makes perfect...the more times you practice on him you'll learn what he likes and it will get better each time. Also I believe there are some books with some techniques out there.
