you find out your baby is not what you wanted example you wanted a girl and your having a boy, would you have an abortion, many women do this do you agree, they dont live in poor countries either.

Hell no!! That is an absolutely terrible idea. No one is 100% sure what a baby's gender is until it is born, anyway. Plenty of people think they're having one thing and it turns out to be the other. I am pro-choice, but I think there are very few "valid" reasons to have abortions, and this is definitely not one of them.

Abortion is bad not just because a baby is going to be killed but also the guilt one will have. I think it is selfish to just abort a child because it's not the "right" gender. If that person has any kind of feelings she will be troubled by her choice for a very long time if not forever.

By the time a woman finds out the gender, it is too late for an abortion. I highly doubt "many women do this".

IMHO - there is not such thing as a VALID reason for abortion. Let's call it what it is - MURDER. The thought of someone killing a baby because they're not happy with its sex... is beyond sick. People who do this should not be allowed to have children. Sorry if I'm a bit harsh here... but your provocative question really hit a nerve.

NO, NO, NO!!! abortion is MURDER. and a parent who is willing to have a baby of a certain sex is cruel, and selfish. parents are supposed to love their children no matter how they look, what gender they are, or anything. aborting is taking away a person's life without even giving them a chance to live, and I don't think a parent who wants to kill her/his child would be a good parent even to a perfect child.

Absolutely not! A child is a gift from God. If you don't want to love or take care of the child because of it's gender then give it up for adoption, don't kill it!

If you're foolish enough to consider it, then you're too ignorant to have a baby regardless of its gender, and should be killed in a freak example of natural selection besides.

that's a horrible reason to abort! people like that shouldn't have kids period! if they can't love a child because of it's sex, then they will be guaranteed to have many issues with the child of the correct sex.
