Norman Rockwell An artist for all season, Norman is not only a good painter but was a very nice, friendly and sincere person too. He is one artist you would like to spend the afternoon, drinking beer and talking about art and life.

most pick the safe bet; the artists that the commoners are taught to view as great. We don't want the public seeing anything that might cause them to think.
The artists that everyone should list are Courbet and Goya, because without them we'd still be looking at religious and political scenes paid for by the same. How do you know when Art is bland? When government funded galleries promote it. Support small galleries!
