Why don't you buy something from legible sources at few extra bucks... ?? eBay does n't sell anything but the members sell all obsolate...

If that scanner not working put it back on ebay for more extra bucks and off-load it...

its helpful when you post a question like this to actually mention what scanner model you are having trouble with.

I recently upgraded a system with a scanner on it, but the manufacturer did not make XP drivers for it. So it got replaced with a scanner that XP did support.

What are the makes and models of the scanners? You may be able to download some of the drivers from the scanner manufacturer's website.

Some older scanners just don't have drivers to work on XP.
