Popeye the sailor man

When you say the base of your spine, do you mean just above your butt crack, your coccyx, or do you mean the small of your back just above your hip-huggers belt line?

First off: tramp stamp? ...possibly, but isn't truly sexy kind of trampy? If you grow up to be a complete straignt arrow your tatoo will become a conversation piece and a bit of scandal to make the other PTA moms evny you your "wild" youth-dom. If you are a regular sort of person you will have lots of fun with it, both in wishing you hadn't gotten it and really happy you got it.

For what it's worth, I doubt body mods, piercings, and tattooing will become passe anytime soon. They may be pre-cursers to actual body augmantation and our next logical evolutionary step...biological and mechanism. Replacement parts (here already), enhanced parts, thought/memory enhancement...ooooh there are lots, but that is a Sci Fi answer. :)

I digress: Tatoos be way cool.

The best funny one that starts great conversations is the words "Your Name". You can tell anyone , "Did you know I have your name tattooed on my back?

For fashion and general good looks, geometric desings are swell...kinda like Celtic designs and such.

Exotic: Anything in a foreign script, probably Asain but not Chinese or Japanese since the Chinese will not be exotic 20 years hence...they and their writing will be everywhere. Thai, Laotian, Hindi, Cambodian look very nice and will always be somewhat unique. Ancient Sanskrit would be way peachy. For content, I'd love to see something completly non-sequiter like, "Where is the lady with the bedpan". But then it might be said by some that I have a slightly obtuse sense of humor.

Whatever you want, try to make it special to you...something you would be proud of. I would want something as unique as possible, but uniqueness should not be your only guide. Something that is totally cliche would be perfect if you realy liked it. Best of luck.

You have to pick a tattoo that you're comfortable with. The location, size, colour(s) and style are all very important. A tattoo that particularly means something special and not a one that is huge that just stands out. Look for some websites and visit lots of tattoo parlours and artists to get a good idea of what you'd like and ask lots of questions too. Remember, they are permanent.

I have not seen any NICE tattoos on ladies. It is my personal opinion that women with tattoos look like Bull Dykes or Prostitutes.
Sorry

Shouldn't you have something in mind BEFORE you decide to get something permanently marked on your body?

Don't do it - it's a tramp stamp! You will regret it when you have a baby and it gets all stretched out and weird.
