Sometime I'm just sitting there then in the back of my mouth my teeth hurt. OR When I'm eating something it hurts too. Can this be a cavity?

Sounds like a cavity too me.
Don't wait, go to the dentist.
You never ever want to experience an abcess tooth. NEVER.

From the info you gave I'd say the nerve inside your tooth/teeth is/are inflamed. If it hurts from pressure, that is something outside the tooth. If it hurts from cold, heat or sweet it is probably inside the tooth. Most the time if it hurts spontaneously with nothing to trigger it, it is not reversible ant will need a root canal. That is not a real diagnosis, because I can't see it and do some other tests. But you definitely need to go to a dentist and get it checked out.

I know of a good dental plan that could help you with that. You shouldnt put off seeing the dentist because of the cost. Everyone qualifies for it, there are no limits on visits or services, on-going conditions are accepted, no waiting periods or age limits, and its really affordable. $11.95/month for an individual or $19.95/month for a whole household. It also includes vision, Rx, and chiropractic. Let me know if I can help

actually, your teeth don't hurt. it is the nerves in your gums connected to your teeth that hurt. it could mean you have a cavity or you may have sensitive teeth. use sensitive toothpaste and if doesn't help see your dentist.

Are you prone to sinus headaches and/or migraines? Sometimes the back teeth hurt when you're having sinus pain and/or pressure. If you're not having any pain or hot/cold sensitivity when you chew or drink, then you're probably ok. If you are, then go see your dentist IMMEDIATELY!

Yes it could, or if you haven't had your wisdom teeth removed yet it could be them.
