I've got a lot of links to wildlife carers from a lot of countries on my site, at
http://au.geocities.com/leaswebsite/links under "Wildlife Assistance" - just click on them all, click on your country and state, have a browse, 'phone them and ask their advice.

Very very best of luck.

This happend to me before, we found a wild baby bird that fell out of its nest. You can buy baby bird food from a pet store to feed him. Make sure you wear gloves if you touch him though because when he gets better, his mother will shun him if she smells a human. Plus they could have a disease. After a few days if he starts to eat, you can take him to a vet and have a professional look at him. I applaud you on deciding to do what's right though. Good luck.

Depending on where you live, if you live in Utah take it to the Tracy Aviary down in Salt Lake City. They take in birds that are hurt, if it is a rare bird, you have a good chance. But, if they don't take it in just gently rap its wing in some cloth and go find some food for it to eat so it doesn't die.

Take the poor thing to an avian vet. There are also wildlife rehabilitation centers all over the country. Don't ry to do anything with it if you don't know what you're doing. Just take it to an expert.

take it to a pet shop and see what they suggest. years back we found a bluejay that appeared to have a broken wing and i called a vet. he said to let it go ..let nature take its course and depending on the bird..you might be breaking the law having it in your procession. if you can find this stuff called '' KIP'' ,,,its a cream, spread on the bald spots but do not hold the bird..it needs to be wild when you let it go. good luck.........m

Hmm. I don't know where you are, but if you have some kind of animal chairty in your country that will come and collect it, or somewhere you can take it to, then you should do that. Something like the ASPCA in america or the RSPCA in the UK.
