Would, in the minds of Americans has NEVER been the question, it is the extent each is willing to commit. True, being a sovereign nation did not stop the Third Reich in Europe until it attacked them , perhaps organized citizens in a contemporary Republic can stop an ongoing invasion from a hostile government.
Answer I have and always support the concept of the MinuteMen.

I do support the Minutemen. There is a link where you can donate to their fence. Unfortunately it is in Arizona, but I gave in California where they repair existing border fences, too.
I am a little nervous about vigilantes, but so far they are doing a much better job than our government. I've seen headlines about border patrol officers and ICE staff taking bribes to ignore their duties, but so far have seen no incidents with the Minutemen.
(This is NOT to deride our Border Patrol and ICE who I think are doing a great job considering how restricted they are. I am just saying that no official screening seems perfect, either.)
Kwaz, give any evidence at all that that libel is true. One of the organizers has a black ex-wife and a biracial child. Heads of the Illinois and Utah chapters (at least) are hispanic. Those are FACTS. Do you have any?

The Minutemen were great, I support them 100%. Watt and Hurley were one of the best rhythm sections ever. Double Nickels on the Dime is the best album of the 80s, and that includes Thriller, Purple Rain, Zen Arcade, and even Slippery When Wet.
Didn't they break up when D. Boon died though?

I support them. I think they are doing something that needs to be done. Everyone is ignoring our immigration laws and no one wants to stand up and speak out against illegals out of politically correct b.s. Hey, I'm not a racist or anything like that, I just think we have laws in place for a reason and they need to be taken seriously. We have a legal way to get in the country. Instead these people just ignore out laws and then look for some sort of legal relief with my tax dollars.

The Minutemen are GREAT!!! They volunteer their OWN time, and use their OWN money, to sit out in the 120 degree temperatures,to do a job that OUR government REFUSED to do!!!

I think they're a very positive force indeed .. doing what our successive governments should have done years ago!! The Minutement are patriots ... can the same be said for our government??
