Nobody has been elected yet. But it looks that Calderon is going to win, so prepare for more illegal immigration! Since he's from the same political party as Fox, has the same proposals...and look, what has Fox done for Mexico??? Only export people illegaly to the U.S.
I really didn't want him to win, but...I guess the majority of the Mexicans are still blind. It was a close competition though.
Unemployed and people with ridiculous low paying jobs in Mexico, prepare for another 6 yrs. of unemployment and low salaries, again the PAN goes to Los Pinos (that sucks big time).

They don't have a new President yet. Whomever it is, they will probably be like the current one: a first class crook. It is the way the Mexican government has always been, it is the way they will always be. It is the reason why so many people are trying to get to the US.

I thought they were still in the process of the recount, although Calderon is in the lead. Maybe he'll pull an Al Gore and demand another one.

Calderon was running against Obrador, Fox couldn't run again.
I don't think we have the official tally yet. I think Calderon will win the vote (again) on recount, however, Obrador has indicated he might not accept the results.

They can elect Zippy The Pinhead for all I care, as long as whoever's in office is focused on doing things to improve life FOR the people that actually live in that country. They have people in need, families in distress, crime, drugs, all sorts of things, and they need to get with the program. WE can help by 'turning off the magnet'...

I think they might have a better time if he is not to pushy and doesn't make the wrong decisions.

Well, wasn't he just elected? I would imagine the people that elected him feel pretty good about him.
