That when several of us speak up against illegal immigration and for OUR rights as Americans and the enforcement of the law, that the illegals and their supports start name calling (racist, etc), impersonating people, slandering, etc. Is this just more proof of their criminal mentality and no respect for OUR laws, OUR people, and OUR country?

This is for magnolia.1974 below who said I was not wanting Spanish people in this country. When did I ever say that? I have NEVER said that. I am opposed to ALL illegals that are here from all nationalities. I have singled no one group out. It is people like you who keep trying to turn the upholding of the law and standing up for our rights into a race issue. There is no race issue here. What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand?

And for all of those who say that the illegals are not criminals, well think again. Just what do you think the word ILLEGAL means? They are breaking several laws just entering this country. Not only that they use fake and stolen ID and SS#s (more breaking of the law), and falsify who knows what else. So yes, they are criminals. If they want to be here then they can do it legally like others have, otherwise they can stay out!

Maybe the deceived people who support illegals here could get a grip if they saw it laid out like this:
1. They know it is a crime to come here without the permission of the US government; so they sneak in.
crime #1
2. They come only to work. they cannot leglly work. they get jobs
crime #2
3. They do not pay taxes into a federally mandated program that is designated for each individual worker
crime #3
4. Some use fake ID. crime #4. fake social SS#. crime #5
5. Some use REAL SS#'s and adopt other REAL person's IDENTITY. Crimes #6 & #7
6. Drive without licenses, insurance, without plates. Crimes #8, 9, &10
7. Give false names when arrested. Crime #11
8. defraud emergency rooms with false names and addresses or receive service with no intention of paying, due to the inability really find out who they were
CRIME #12
9. Assist other illegals by finding jobs, residences, aquireing fake ID & SS#, Helping other illegals to cross the border, either financially or putting them in contact with 'coyotes'
CRIMES #13, 14, 15, 16, 17, & 18.

Not only do they break the law coming here, but their intent is to CONTINUE breaking laws!

Ah yes the law abiding illegal
as rare a species as the DODO bird!

There's a lot of people that would LOVE to entitle themselves right on into the United States. Some of our representation is too caught up in conflicts of interest to be really effective on the issue, so the new weapon of the would-be border jumper is the race card. I saw 'mind of mencia', and if that guy's any indication, there's a lot of people out there with a little chip on their shoulder on the immigration issue, specifically from mexico. I don't support their approach, I think it's more 'in ya FACE' than anything, and what they don't realize is that there's 3 times as many americans as there are mexicans, and there's no illegal labor required to get the fence built. The louder they howl about it, the faster the fence will go up. When it's eventually completed, then our law enforcement agencies will have an easier time of going after the criminals, the systemic lawbreakers, and god knows who else that's stationed themselves astraddle the border, one foot in each country, and gaming the United States for all they're worth.

Mexico's into us for billions of dollars, and they'd like to see that number increase. Dependent third(second, whatever, they can't live without us, or US, rather) world countries like Mexico just don't 'have it to go', so they'll tap into america just every chance they get, legal, or otherwise.

We don't want the drugs, we don't want the crime, we don't want severed HEADS(did you read about Acapulco? Yeah, I'm going THERE on vacation! Not) in the United States. You wanna run around half-naked and be down with the spirit-fathers? Fine. Just keep it out of the United States. Like it or lump it, the US brought what we now recognize as 'civilization' to the western world, when it was formed. That means traffic lights, laws, sidewalks, hospitals, the whole trip. When the country of mexico focuses on setting up more of that for their own citizens, there'll be less northbound pressure. When that happens, we can start talking about taking down the border fence, again. But, first, let's get the damn thing built, and see what happens...

No. Remember this isn't YOUR COUNTRY. Unless your Native American this land never belonged to you and you immigrated from some other country. What if they started a new law that only Native Americans were allowed to stay here and everyone else had to go, I'm pretty sure you would speak up against that. Remember, Part of California and Texas used to belong to Mexico and someday they might decide to take it back. People should really stop this hatred for illegal people because everyone has immigrated from one country or another except the Native Americans.

Oh boy, now I'm going to get into trouble, but I need to say something on this issue. I live in CA. and am in farming. I'm not a rich farmer by any stretch of the imigination. I'm just giving you this info to make my point. I've worked, partied cried, laughed with mexican people for the last 25 years. I am proud that I have a lot of mexican friends and have helped a few become legal. But seems time and attitudes have changed with a lot of the younger mexicans coming here now. My friends who became legal are proud to be Americans. And they are proud of their Mexican herigate both good things. But I find a lot of the ones now coming over do not want to become Americans, they just want the benifits that are offered here. They have no regard for our laws and smart enough to take advantage of our ever growing "political correctness" attitude that is taking over. And that boys and girls is our fault. Somehow some way we need to get people into office that represent the good of America again. We do that by the slow process of voting in some better people. And I don't care which political party they come from as long as they get the job done. The way immigration is now if we start inforcing the laws on the books already we can get this thing under control. True a lot of people, other wise good people who are here illigally will have their lives turned upside down. But we need to do it. We simply can't afford people here illigaly for the one who is working hard in the fields or washing dishes there are 10 on welfare and food stamps. We are at war with people who want to kill you and me just because we are. So border security is of the up most importance or should be. Try to get into Mexico and become a citizen their immigration laws are much tougher than ours. America is a great country even with all its faults. And we need people we want people to come here and be succesfull in what ever they decide to do. But we must stay united and be loyal Americans first if we want to live here. If not then go home and fix your own country.

Ok, I understand the whole Illegal Alien thing but lets face it, America has sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many other problems that did not start with people who are here illegally. I highly doubt that any/all illegals will get deported so all of your comments are a waste of time so get over it!

Well, you know as well as I do that they don't HAVE any arguments ... just the usual old tired race card ... and the bandwagon people with their cries of "We were ALL immigrants", which has nothing to do with anything ...we were certainly not all ILLEGAL immigrants ... and "They are poor honest people who only want to find a better life for themselves and their families" ... yeah, I'm sure ... I'd get a better life too if I started to run up bills at other people's expense, be it getting free health care or stealing someone's ID ... when they have something SENSIBLE to say, I'll listen ... but I'll probably have to wait for that till Hell freezes over ....

oh please, it goes both ways. if any open minded or as u would call it "Illegal supporter" says something they r also attacked & a bit more viciously. r u generalizing sweetie talkin about their criminal mentality- i think so. so maybe u should stop ur ignorance and open ur ears & eyes. Its YOUR laws, YOUR ppl & YOUR country that is letting these ppl come here and has been for decades. so get a grip & u might want to blame YOURSELF & YOUR fellow Americans for this corruption of the laws & immigration system instead of bashing the defenseless. but i guess its just easier to hate.

Yes, but I also notice that you push people away by accusing them of criminality and disrespect. I think you have to take a harder look at your own motivations, while also considering how would you act if you were in the shoes of another, a person who is in a country disadvantaged economically. I am an American and descendant of veterans who fought the British, so I'm as American as you can get. However, I've noticed that we love to get that cheap labor, we like that it keeps the cost of food low, even while the middle man gets his chunk. Even our state governments are contracting construction jobs to guest workers. We invite immigrants in so we benefit from their labor, then we treat them like dirt. I've seen that side; maybe you haven't. Go hire yourself out as day labor, even just one day. You'll get your eyes opened, I guarantee you an education, my friend.
You say, OUR country? Learn the history of OUR country, fellow American. It might just surprise you.

its people like you that make America look bad. why do you have to stereotype. not all illegals are like that. so all illegals have crI'minal mentality. well all people like you are crazy maniacs who have nothing better to do than to put down people you don't even know. what are you going to do next? if you want to take people out of the us then go join the minutemen. and we don't call you racist.we just call you inhuman for your ways of thinking. but don;t take this all the wrong way. im just expressing my opinion like you do. and i am an American who is pro immigration because i think people deserve a chance to succeed in life

agreed... although there are people who speak up against illegals for racist reasons, but for the most part people who are doing from a purely legal standpoint, are looked at in a negative light.... when did accepting illegal behave become the right thing!
