i was told to put caramel highlights in my hair but i didnt realy think it looked good on me and some other people feel the same way. I have black hair and golden skin tone. What other color will suit me. People tell me blonde suits more than this caramel. But i dont want to go too blonde, is there a color little darker than blonde?

With black hair, you need to go with browns. Red browns look good, but the red fades. But i would just do a foil with that. Not all over. you can mix colors that you think you might like, and get a complete new look.

well hun if your hairs black no blonds not going to look good..or carm..black looks best with only the copper highlights and small ones don't over do it...or it will take over the black which you don't want to do nice even copper streaks...and small...btw...loreal has the ox here you die it back to black and then the streaking stuffs in that box also....most of your Asian women have this look and it looks great ....go to walmart and look for it on the box will show you a lady with black hair and the copper streaks....have someone help you its a comb through one....and if your hairs straight that's better to do it on ....only get the top of the hair...you can always add more less is better than you can do more if you want ...

You're really going to have to depend on the opinions and ideas of those people who can actually see you! I'd love to be able to help, but without seeing you and your hair color or your skin tone, it's rather impossible to give you an intelligent answer. Take the advise of one of your friends or a professional stylist.

Honey Blonde or Chestnut Blonde would be a little lighter. Its not too light

Try for a light brown, or a reddish shade. Blonde will probably stick out too much.
