You really need to neuter this dog as undecended testicles ofen become cancerous this is something you need to do for the health of your pet.
Look around and see if someplace in your area sponsers low cost spay andneuter programs.
They also himp to show dominance but in this case the pillows he is only being a horny naughty dog.

Getting the dog neutered will not stop the humping. Some dogs just do this and it is hard to break.
The key to prevention is teaching a dog skills like come or sit/maintain. For example if the dog is going into a state or arousal, they can be cued to stop the behavior and calm themselves down before mounting occurs. With the skills you've taught your dog, you will be giving them something else to do besides mounting. In the event mounting occurs you may need to interfere, but do so very carefully so you do not further arouse the dog or cause the dog to feel threatened.
The most recent thought is that humping is simply a social behavior/motor pattern that dogs have. All it means is that the dog is excited or in an aroused state (they are hyper). Females do it too. Dogs do not understand rank because they do not relate to the experiences of others. They are self aware but not other aware. They can not understand "you lose, I win." All they relate to is the present (this feels good) and the past (this was reinforcing and felt good before).
Dogs live in the present, but bring their past experiences along with them to determine how they will respond to present circumstances and situations. What they cannot perceive is the future or how to control or influence the future.

First, I agree with everyone else here that (a) you should get your dog neutered - the sooner the better - and (b) neutering won't solve the problem.
Discipline will solve the problem. There are many methods, but one that usually works very well and quickly is to get a squirt gun and fill it with diluted lemon juice or vinegar. Every time your dog starts humping something, squirt him in the face. It won't be long until he stops.
Oh yes - if you don't trust your vet, for crying out loud find another vet!!!

Check for clinics that do neutering at reduced rate, its important that this be checked out and accomplished. One of our lab mix dogs hadn't "dropped" either and when the surgery was done they found one wrapped around a kidney. If we had not had the surgery at the time we did he would have had some serious problems. He is now nine years old and happy and well. As far as the humping goes the surgery helps but does not completely eliminate this nautural function.

First of all, whether his testicles dropped or not, it won't change the fee for the neuter. If you don't trust your vet to do it, seek a different vet. But have your boy neutered now.
As for financial reasons, visit www.spayusa.org. You'll find resources there for assistance financially on getting it done. And you'll also learn why it's important.
Second, neutering won't neccessarly stop him from trying to mate with your pillows either. For the time being, maybe you can find him some "his size" stuffed animals. Go to your local second hand or thrift store, Goodwill, Salvation Army, yard sales, etc, etc, etc. Find some stuffed teddy bears that are his size or slightly larger and exchange him the stuffed doll when he goes for your pillow. It won't solve anything as far as the attitude, but it'll keep him off your pillow.

Ther are two problems here. One is that if his "things" as you call them have never dropped, there's a good chance he's going to develope cancer, if theyr're not removed, and then your problem will be solved. The second is, that if you admonish him every time you see him, eventually he'll stop, or you can crate him when you leave and that will stop him. But if you don't trust your vet, find another one, or call the local Humane Society, and see if there are any vet's that do reduced fee neutering. If you don't, see my first answer.

Hello
Well i have a 6moth old rottii/lad and he has not started that yet..but if your dog is still in puppie mode..there not much you can do..People we know next door dog does it when they are home only. The dog doesn't have any balls but they got him a stuff toy one day and then he started to hump the toy..maybe if you got him/her this it may help. what you can do is this..take the pillow and run the smell that he did on it on that toy and let him smell it and if he humps that then you got it made..if not then you have to take him to the vet

You really need to get the dog neutered. The humane society occasionally has spaying and neutering for like $40. Look into it and do it ASAP.

A lot of times a dog will still do this even if he is neutered..with dogs it's not always a "sexual" thing but more of a dominance thing.
