Ummmm, I presume you are not from the United States, or are not familiar with the nation's geography.

The United States does not have "provinces." Canada does, for example - and in the US, the rough equivalent of a "province" is the state. In that case the equivalent is Mississippi.

As a greter region, Mississippi is considered a part of "the deep South." It is a Gulf Coast state (on the gulf of Mexico) in the central area of the section of the US commonly called "the South."
