I like to act like I didnt pay, hiding the money and rushing out.

But really, I never walked out without paying. I plan on doing it in a really fancy restaurant, though...

Yes. When I was in high school the "popular" girls invited me for dinner. They skipped on the check, took food home in doggie bags, had a food fight in the parking lot, and smeared food on each other's car windows. I only left when they did because I didn't want to be stuck with the whole check. The entire experience disgusted me and I never went out with them again.

No. However, I was assistant manager of a Howard Johnson's restaurant when I was much younger; many people would come in who didn't have money to eat. I put them to work in exchange for something to eat and found them a shelter in the town where the restaurant was located. I hired full-time two of the men who "found our door" ; One worked at the restaurant for over a year until he moved back to his hometown--the other man was still working there when I left.

Yes... but we had been sitting and waiting for our food to come for an hour and a half... so I went down stairs gave the hostess a $10 bill for the drinks and appetisers we were served and said "this should cover what we got" and just walked out...

No. But I have always wondered what they would do to you. I have had some really bad service before and when I spoke to the manager all I got was a free meal the next time. What was that going to help. I didn't want to come back.

On accident yes, well we did pay, but instead of leaving two $100 bills, my father accidently two $10. The restaruant was very dark, and he couldn't really tell what he was leaving. The waiter caught up to us after we had left the restaraunt, and we made things right.

No. I had terrible service and food twice, and complained to the manager and got either a gift card or complimentary dinner.

If I get poor service I usually leave a tip of a penny and a note that says "Here's your tip - get a job you're better at".

the food and the service were incredibly bad that i would not waste another minute in there. the waitress was wearing so much perfume to try to cover severe body odor it gave me a headache. when the food came it was the wrong items and everything was ice cold. i talked to the manager and she told me it was just fine when it left the kitchen and i must have done something to it. of course i left and i don't feel guilty about it one bit.

Yes. Once accidentally and once purposly because the waitress took almost 20 minutes to come back with the check and we had to go. So we just left.
