I'm getting married in Dec. and I'm having a really hard time picking a song is there any romantic christmas songs or not typical wedding songs that are really great. This whole topic just confuses us because we have such different tastes....

Well, then make it your first big decision together. Being married is sharing your life and finding the happy middle ground. I would get every ones idea then decide together. Even if you decide to put all the songs on a piece of paper and draw one from a hat, at least you did it together! Best wishes and Good luck!

Is there any specific song that the two of you like? My husband and I also have somewhat different tastes in music but there is one song that we came into agreement with and that is "Thank You" by Led Zepplin but we chose to dance the version that was done by Duran Duran. Its an awesome song.

You need to think about what songs you listen to that remind the both of you about each other and how you feel about each other. To me, the first dance is a reflection of your love for one another.
Here's the lyrics to a Christmas song that I found to be romantic

There’s a halo ‘round the moon
On this Christmas Eve
It’s the kind of night
When the hardest heart believes

Climb:
There’s a million stars shining
In the sacred sky
But I’ve got just one wish for you and I

Chorus:
I wish everyday was Christmas (3x)
And I could spend every Christmas with you

We took a walk past a church
The night so crystal clear
Songs of the choir
Lingered in the air

Climb
Chorus

Bridge:
When light through the stained glass
Fell on two angels in the snow
I knew my wish would come true
Cause all I need is the promise
Of every Christmas with you

Thought this was pretty romantic

well everyone i know who's ever done such a thing just picks one of their favorite songs that has to do with love and then they dance to it. also just because you get married in december doesn't mean you need to pick a christmas song(all though "baby it's cold outside" is pretty romantic) anyways you and your fiance need to agree on a song that you both can tolerate for the entire 3 minutes it's played. no one but the two of you are going to remember it anyway so don't stress.

We had "What a Wonderful World" by Louie Armstrong as our wedding song. I think it's perfect because it's about life. I heard it at a wedding with an ex boyfriend years ago and I swore I would have it at my wedding. My husband also heard it and loved it. When we decided to get married, we both looked at each other and named that song. It was so cool!! It made our first dance together even more special.

You really shouldn't have any Christmas songs it's kinda Corny...

Maybe you should both sit down and think of some song's that you think would be nice and then get together and look them over. I am sure out of the ones that you guys like there is one that would be meaningful to you.

If that doesn't work maybe go with an old Standard like Frank Sinatra or something like that.

I'd go with a song the two of you both like. My fiance proposed to me playing a beautiful Led Zepplin song, so that's what I have chosen for our first dance. Best of luck with the wedding and all the years to come :)

December is the best time to get married, because that is when i did. :)

My husband and I danced to "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts
or even use the song we did as we were lightening our Unity candle.. "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban.

:D Good luck and congrats!!!

Elvis Presley - I cant help falling in love with you....very classic or Etta James - At Last, also very good...

Are there any songs that when you hear them, you think of your honey? If so, go with one of those....It will mean more.

What ever you decide to do, i know it will be great! Good Luck Hun!
