Our country is built upon people coming here from other countries, other cultures searching for a better way of life. Of course now it is much harder to work and live in this country just as it is in most others in the world.
I have nothing against anyone who wants a better way of life, but it needs to be done legally. My husband is from England and I know all to well what a person has to go through to work and live in this country. It cost a lot of money, a lot of time and of course the never ending red tape.. still if people are willing to come and go through all that then I say let them stay, let them live, let them work in our country..

I was like the majority of current undocumented.. I came here legally, and then didn't leave when I was supposed to. I now have a "green card", so everything worked out OK in the end. If you look at the numbers, I believe that this is more common than the "wire-hopping".

No - I was born in our nation's capitol actually. I'm not thrilled at the fact that they are stealing identities to get jobs, drive on the roads WE pay for since they don't pay income taxes and my husband works for a hospital who is now losing more money treating them so therefore jobs are being taken away because we are supporting a whole 'nother country practically. We can't do that. I had two planned children. If 12 more (unplanned) just moved in to my house, we would go under because we can't afford it. Think about that.

pass to the close by American consulate, fill out the paprwork, they are going to touch you back for interviews, make you're taking a actual. if youve met all of the requirments you would be referred to as back and issued an entrace visa. those final 2 years, then interior the U.S. you get yet another one for 4 years, and that i think after a complete of four years in case you want to become a citizen you attend instructions and take the tests, or you will pay 3 hundred bucs each 4 years to get the visa renewed.

No, I came in the back of a pick up with a bag of heroin to sell to your children - just kidding - I've never been - they won't let me in because of my drugs convictions, but I suppose that's what illegal means. I believe that we landed her as aliens from a far off planet so we are all immigrants really, what we should do is all love each other, preferably in a sexual way and make babies man, yeah babies they taste sweeeeet. Adios Hombre!!!

Don't hate the people, hate the system. The system supports them. Would you take welfare, free heathcare and a tax free job if you were offered it. You are a liar if you say you wouldn;t. They come here for a better life. Living as an illegal is usually a better life for these people. Their kids are citizens if they are born here. If your child has faced with starvation I guarantee you would do the same. My wife and her family all came here illegally. My wife was six when it happened.

Texas Co. Hired Illegals to Make MREs
McALLEN, Texas, Oct. 28, 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(AP) A Texas employment agency was sentenced to five years of probation for hiring illegal immigrants to work at the nation's top producer of military battlefield rations, federal prosecutors said Thursday.
The Tollin Group was also fined $20,000 and ordered to pay $414,000 in civil penalties Wednesday. It has been barred from Department of Defense contracts for three years.
The San Antonio-based company, which does business as Remedy Intelligent Staffing, pleaded guilty in January to hiring illegal immigrants and trying to cover it up by falsifying employment eligibility forms. The workers were hired for Wornick Co., which makes MREs _ or "meals ready-to-eat."
The investigation was initiated in February 2003 after an al-Qaida operative was arrested with information pointing to McAllen and Wornick as terrorist targets. Wornick had been awarded a $47 million contract to produce more than 1.1 million MREs for U.S. forces in Iraq.
The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force ran background checks on Wornick employees and found hundreds of temporary employees with fraudulent documentation.
No direct link to terrorism was found.

Nobody in here is addressing the real problem...why is it that the Mexicans are coming here? Mexico needs to build up its infrastructure and produce a real economy...and the US needs to support Mexico instead of stealing their labor for pennies on the dollar...putting up fences doesn't solve the problem, it just makes for a bigger one that costs us and them more money...

i was stolen from my country over 400 years ago and still have not been given my 40 acers and a mule that i was promised. so i say let people do what they need to do to survive, let the border patrol do their job to try and stop them the ones they miss good for them the ones they get too bad for them. and let that be that we all have our parts to play
they want a better life --- go for it
the boarder patrol gets paid to stop them ---do your job
business want to hire cheap labor ---if they are here hire them
thats how i see it
