put them in cold water for about 5 minutes, you will notice the water getting warm, its like the eggs are sweating out the heat within.

then crack them and peel them,
also this way a thing membrane along the peel solidifies and more peel comes off and doesnt crackle

I find they are easier to peel when they are cold. The shell comes off easily if you roll the egg on a countertop cracking the shell all over.

I find it easier to peel a egg if you put a lillte salt in the water while the eggs are boiling then runcold water in the pot after the eggs are done and the egg shell comes off easier.

I've always found it easier to peel them when they're cold. The egg doesn't tear when the shell comes off and it seems to hold up better.

The trick I use is that as soon as they're done boiling, I shock them with cold water and I find that the shells peel right off.
