God is all powerful. Yet, looking around, evil seems to be on the up and up. So is God losing, or is he letting the devil win on purpose? why?

I'm basing my assertion JT, on the basis that within 25 minutes, I can download any flavour of degradation I care to. Also, that within ten kilometers of where I sit, I could buy a gun, heroin, a stolen car. Go onto your average teen forum. You're talking cutters, pregnant 13 year olds, druggies, utterly uneducated dullards.

God is not a being. God is the energy of Spirit, i.e., the White Light that many Near Death Experiencers (of many faiths other than Christian) report "at the end of the tunnel." The Light Of The God Force is nonliving, infinite, and governed by Universal Law which cannot be changed one iota.

The more spiritually advanced the soul, the more advanced the ability to ascend into The Light after death, and the more powerful it becomes.

Whenever there are major changes in society, the end of the old with the beginning of the new, there is a lessening of spiritual values.

The fall of the Roman Empire is a good example of this. The same is now occurring in our civilization, but on a broader scale than before. Which means that the changes are much greater and the new paradigm, the new spirituality, will also be much more powerful.

Just like the days of Noah, and Sodom and Gomoroh, they all did wickedness until there cup of iniquity was full and then judgement was executed. Even with the Amorites, God said that there iniquity wasn't full yet before He allowed Joshua to execute judgement upon them.

All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God's adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

From the time of Adam and Eve, after the betrayal of the serpent, we have been blessed with Free Will. To choose which path we will follow, and which path we will not. Earth is Satan's realm, as he obviously can not enter Heaven. The urge to pursue evil has long been the struggle of humans for thousands of years. It is our true weakness. So much so in fact, that God sent Jesus to atone for our sins...Once and for all. No matter how hard we try, we simply cannot avoid sin...God knows this. But whoever believes in the Son, and that he rose on the third day, shall be saved. That doesn't mean that you just go around sinning though...Uh-uh. For if you believe in Christ and align with the Holy Spirit....We are Born Again. Free from sin. In conclusion: God is not losing the war... Humans are.

God does exist and he is not losing!! There are more people who believe in God than not. The problem is that people are refusing to submit their lives to him. The bible teaches us about end times which is what is going on now. (2 Timothy chapter 3 in the bible)The enemy knows that he has a short time and he is working overtime to deceive as many people as possible. God wants sincere hearts and this life is a test. If you have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior then you are lost. Please ask him to come into you heart if you have not done so - while there is still time. There is a spiritual battle going on and each of us must decide where we want to spend eternity. If you don't believe me then I urge you to read the word of God for yourself -- How can this word written so long ago be so on target about what is going on today?????????? Even if you are a skeptic you must admit that it deserves a second look. I pray that if you are reading this and you are not saved that you would open your heart to hear Jesus calling out to you. It is not his will that any man should perish. God bless you!!!!!

Psst. in basic terms as Christ rose from the grave on the 0.33 day, if i lose, i win. All that i do is meaningless till eventually i do all in the decision of My Lord. I actually have not in any respect understand en loss in the Lord, in difficulty-free words a particular project, and so it shall or now not it really is till I actually have complete what has been given me. Shakespeare: "existence isn't some thing yet that which fools may save" i wish you have a good time with that my exhilaration has been made complete. when you're incapable of happiness for me, i am going to in difficulty-free words pray on your human being. Have an invaluable day.

God is not losing the battle. There are things that need to happen before the Lord redeems the earth. There is a purpose to everything even though we may not understand it all in this very moment.

The book of Revelation is a prophetic book...some of the things written have not occurred yet. Read it...God wins.

Throughout Biblical history it appeared that good was losing to evil, that God was being overcome by Satan. The "battle" of which you speak is eternal, not temporal. While there are temporary setbacks (400 years of slavery in Egypt and captivity in Babylon, for example), the living God prevailed and sent the Redeemer to save the remnant. The remnant of God's chosen race, the "New Jerusalem," will ultimately prevail.

The evil we see around us today (abortion, homosexuality, attacks on the Church) are but temporary setbacks. Those involved such iniquity will hear Jesus say on Judgment Day, "I never knew you!"

Not as long as people are turning their hearts over to God.
I became a Christian this past year, and I never ever thought I would.
Its easier to find the bad going on than the Good, but the Good is still here, just look around...its still here!
You can see it when a mother hugs her child, or when you fall in love. You can see it on those perfect summer days when the breeze is just right and the flowers look amazing. God's creation is beautiful, and is good.
Take time to appreciate the little things, because in the rush of life daily life can get too routine, too stressful and too hectic.
God's not losing, were not taking the time to listen to him, to pray, and to take a few special moments to relax...take a few moments to look around and be grateful for his wonderful love.♥

God doesn't exist. He never has. And evil is not on top. This is one of the most peaceful times in the history of humanity. But yes, god is losing. The human race is waking up, and realizing just how silly their earlier beliefs really were. I give god another 100 years.

Oh, and FYI - the "bad" things you mentioned in your edit... those have always been here, too. We're just intelligent enough to notice them and attempt to correct the behaviors now. In the past, those people were simply ignored. Theists have a splendid ability to pretend bad things don't exist.

God is losing nothing. The evil is picking up in the world because satan is working over time to get as many souls as he can before the Lord Jesus returns to take His Children home. When Jesus returns and we go up in the rapture to met Him, the Holy Spirit, who is holding down evil now will be gone with us. You think it's bad now, This is a Sunday School picnic compared to what will happen then. Satan will then be totally free to do as he wishes with who is left on this earth. And before anyone gets all upset. Jesus will not return until everyone that is going to be saved gets saved. We all have that chose. No one can stand on Judgment Day and say "I did not know" this will not hold true
