There is evidence that the aspartame in diet pop does a number on your system including slowing down your metabolism and also causing joint pain along with some other things that can mimic symptoms of MS. If you want a safe diet soda try RC as it does not contain aspartame

i believe that that is not almost as good for a dieter as you imagine it will be. Mentally it can make you eat extra because you sense like you've had a lot less energy than you imagine and provides a pretend sense of fullness. there's a lot crap in soda i'd in simple terms stay faraway from all of it mutually yet in case you want that fizz purchase sparkling soda and combine it with a fruit juice. btw. Reg. soda is terrible for you...the phosphoric acid strips the liner of your abdomen making your abdomen freak out and it desires to substitute what's been stolen and so it takes calcium out of your bones.

If splenda doesn't contain Aspertame, then the answer should be no, it wouldn't slow down the metatbolism...I suppose each person is different, as to body weight, etc...

The Aspatame (artificial sweetner) in diet soda is a killer! Why would you want to drink it?
