Was my car braking down a blessing?
My car broke down the day before my birthday.
I called the guy I was dating, he did not really care. 1. It showed me not to waste my time with him. 2. I found out who really does care about me and who does not. 3. My tow truck guy got there in 30 minutes. He said he was going to get off work but something told him to take the call. 4. I still talk to him, really nice person.5. They told me it would be $1200 to fix it. It was only $800. 6. My car broke down the same day I was going to perform but the week before they called me to move the date. 7. When went to the bank to get the money out to pay the mechanic, they told me about an opening in the bank that pays twice as much as my job now. They job would be if I get it the 7th luckiest blessing of all.
But I knew it going to be a blessing.

Dear Nice Girl,

It is great to see someone let go, and let God show the way. It is my true belief that everything happens for a reason. The reason may not be what we would have envisioned, but as you have learned,,,,let go, let God!!!

Huggs and Kisses,

Lonnie

Everything happens for a reason. Initially, I was upset when my car broke down. I got a ride from a person who was on their way to a birthday party and invited me to go along. It was a most rewarding experience and I met so many excellent people, all of whom were local musicians who played at regular venues around my city. Now I can go to most clubs around town and know the people who are playing there.

Yes i would say so..The bible says all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose...

What we think sometimes is our demise is sometimes actually God trying to move you to a place of blessing ,,or restoring or strengthening...we as people sometimes get uneasy ..actually aggravated because we get moved from our comfort zones

There is a man in the bible who suffered greatly..his name is Job...the book before psalms...

Job was a man who went through a process ..that process is called the baptism of fire.

We sometimes like Job go through for similar reasons...the process is for...Refining strengthening..shaping ..molding and making...

The main thing in the process is Don't turn away from God ..know that He knows all about it..and is there for you

Seeing as how you had blessings come from it sounds like you made it through the test

Just beware ...that you always look for Gods will through these times..because they will show you where to go next..if you lose focus you may walk the wrong road..God bless

God allows things to happen for a reason. He can see ahead and knows what is going to happen. Once i was out, and my car would not crank for a while. I got very mad, having to sit and wait. When i got it cranked, I was going down the road. There was a bad wreck there. It happened the time i would have been going through there, if my car did not break down. I said, thank you God for letting my car break. I could have been killed, but God knew ahead, and took care of me. I never question Him about anything. He knows all.

"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

Time & chance happens to everyone. I doubt it is God's guiding hand steering you to a particular job. Good that you have nice things happening in your life, but be sure that you don't turn around and blame God when things might not turn out exactly how you want.

Ahh, but what if you hadn't had to fork out $800 for your car at all... wouldn't that be a blessing. Quit turning crap that happens to you into something good.

The bible states all good things come from the Father which is in Heaven. There is no luck, only the grace of God. Trust and keep having faith, it seems you have found favor with God.

You answered the question yourself!!!!
Maybe your boyfriend wasn't the guy for you, the car breaking down showed you that. Maybe it's the tow guy?? ;-)

If you say : "But I knew it going to be a blessing."

You already have your answer. Now you are just either gloating or wanting people to agree with you.

So sad.
