Yes do read the Koran....

See what the prophet does and teach
Read about Islamic equality.
Read what is says about women
Read how the Koran teaches to treat non muslims
Read how to be fair with slaves
Oh ! And yes, read how it describes the trinity and Jesus... in the Koran Jesus is just a Prophet... and it tells you exactly how the life of JC should had been written in the first place....

Regardless of all the archeological Artifact about the Bible, the Koran has never been changed even if the ancient and one of the oldest version of the Koran at the British Museum proves the Koran has been altered, but also shows that many verses have been taken off or added....

The miracle of Islam: The Koran !

And it is okay to kill a former Muslim who becomes a Christian? Jesus Christ does not desire respect per say, but to be accepted and acknowledged as God and LORD. He gets respect and reverence because of an understanding of Who He Is. If you read John 8 through John 10:10 in the Holy Bible, it tells us that Christ did not come to condemn us, but He came to give us life more abundantly. This includes an eternal salvation with no suffering. And no need for religiousity in vain repetitious greetings. God bless you.

actually, orthodox ones do say "Peace be with you" for a greeting.

I personally, don't agree with any religion at all, they all have many unreal things in them, that quite clearly could never happen, or they still would be happening now. I believe the true thing about life after death is something unimaganeable, something nobody could imagine. Therefore, i choose to live the short life I am currently in how I can, enjoying it as much as possible, worshipping nothing, as we have no idea who created us.

So, I live my life just living, basically. Religion could be a waste of life, so I choose not to take the risk.

If you substitute Christ for Muhammad and Bible for Quran you would sound just like a Christian trying to convert someone to their faith. Do you see the similarity?

So, if I'm new to religion and looking to pick one, which one should I choose? You both say I need to be part of your faith and not the other to survive, yet you both worship the same god.

Which one of you is right? As an objective observer I see no difference between the two.

Can you see how silly it all is?

Muslims DISHONOR Jesus Christ by refusing to acknowledge his Diiety, that he is the Son of God.

Jesus claimed to be God; (that's why the Jews wanted to kill him).
You apparently have a serious misunderstanding about what Christians believe, my friend. You need to read the Bible.

Jesus said: "I am the Way, The Truth, and The Life; NO MAN can come to the Father except through me". (John 14:6)
That's what we believe as Christians.

According to Jesus there is NO other way to God.
He died to pay the price for the sins of ALL. That's why we call him Savior. Muslims dishonor Him by refusing to acknowledge his death and resurrection.

If you can't call him Savior and Lord, then you have dishonored what He taught about Himself and his stated purpose here on earth.
Read this for a clue about what Jesus taught:...

"I and my Father are one" - Jesus
"If you have seen me you have seen the Father" -- Jesus
"I come DOWN FROM HEAVEN, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me." -- Jesus

"If you believe NOT that I am He (the Messiah) ye shall die in your sins". --- Jesus

"For God so loved the world that He sent his Son (JesusChrist), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everalsting life". _ Jesus (Jn.3:16)

Concerning eternal life:
"And this is the record; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is IN HIS SON".-- I Jn. 5:11

"My sheep hear MY voice, and they follow ME, and I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE.."-- Jesus (Jn.10:27)

If you want eternal life pal, get with the program and seek after and follow JESUS. Learn what He said about Himself, and about eternal life. He is the ONLY way to the Father.

The bible says beware of false prophets.

There are tons of false prophets out there.

I'm not saying that you are wrong or right.

I'm saying that we have to be careful towards the issue of blind faith.

I try to keep myself safe and I can only hope that I am under God's approval.

To be safe I know that God made man blind so that they could see God through themselves.

So in turn I try to see God with in myself by trying to do the right thing and make the right decisions that I feel would make God happy.

I don't push anyone towards a religion.

I let my actions speak for themselves.

By letting my actions speak for themselves I can only hope that others see God within me.

It is evident that you seem genuinely worried about Christians and that is commendable. I can only speak for myself when I say that I have learned of Islam and cannot except it on the basis that I do not believe our Bible to have been altered and therefore do not believe Muhammad to be God's messenger. But ty for your concern :)

There is Just one supreme being. Whether you name him Allah, God, Ram, waheguru or any other. Your ultimate goal is to reach him. It does not matter which path you follow. Religion s a path to meet the creator. But remember one thing whichever path you follow has to be your choice not something forced on you and also do not critize the path someone else has chosen to follow as it is his choice.
