You will have many people tell you "how" to come out of depression. The answer lies within yourself. Come to full acknowledgement of what is making you sad. It could be environmental or chemical. Get back to the basics. Praise yourself when you take care of your basic needs. Eating, sleeping, bathing. Your world needs to be balanced. Depression can sometimes become a label even when the body is just natually tired. And always know you are not alone. We are connected just by this very simple internet site.

I am 24 and many times I feel depressed as well. When I get those moments it hits pretty bad and I start thinking of bad things. But I have my boyfriend there and he helps me get through it. Surround yourself with people that love you. I don't believe in medications for this and I truly believe that physical activities and the love of the people around you can do you much better then any medication out there.

Run laps and get outdoors.

You may suffer from Seasonal Affecrtive Disorder (you need lots of sunlight)

I find that a running program helps your body release endorphins and gets you in the sun. The two raise your spirits and help you deal with the crap life can throw at you.

It worked for me and i was clinically diagnosed as having deporession.

First have a good check up. Make sure it is not a medical problem. Then take a good long look at your life and see if any changes might be made. Then an only then consider taking meds for your symptoms.

Been there dude.

In a nut shell, look at yourself, pin point your good qualities, recognize who loves you and ask them why. Realize your still Young and the "World is your oyster" you can change things if you dont like them. Please consider talking to someone. Your depression can last too long and is not worth it if you don't. If you would like to get into more details, send me an e-mail and I would be more then happy to help. Consider it a Canadian thing to do.
