You DON'T.
People don't know that it's illegal to put federal troops on the border - they are barred from enforcing civil law. That's why you only see the National Guard on the borders.
Unless something changes, NOT ONE FEDERAL TROOPER will be on the border when they come back from Iraq. If they are state militia, then yes they'll be there.

We need more Border Patrol Police on the border. Not troops. There should be twice as many as we have now.

I say arm Border Patrol agents and National Guardsmen with orders to shoot to kill and they'll quit coming over here.

We let other countries take care of their own stuff and put ourselves first, that's how. We can't defend our neighbors and leave ourselves open for attack.

Well we have NORAD, and not everyone is overseas. Don't worry, our shores are protected.
