Hello unitedfaith.. :)

Historical Evidence

Similar stories of a world-wide flood have been among peoples all over the world: Romans, Babylonians, Gypsies, Mongols, Africans, Australian Aborigines, Hindus, Polynesians, and American Indians. Dr. Richard Andree found and recorded eighty-eight flood histories.1 These must have had their common origin in a historical event, the world-wide flood.

Global flood evidences include:

The earth's features (such as mountains, canyons, regional stratigraphy (large-scale single rock beds), soft bending of rock strata, etc.) require some type of catastrophic explanation.
Sedimentary rock formations (formed through water deposition) cover substantial portions of North America and other continents.
There is no evidence that coal, oil, or ore deposits are being formed today, yet massive deposits are found in the earth.
Likewise, the earth contains many great fossil beds, none of which appear to be forming today either. Fossils require rapid burial to be preserved.
Exceptions in the geologic column indicate that it was not formed in a gradual manner, such as the appearance of single trees that extend vertically through multiple "ages".
Detailed study of Carbon-14 dating results provide a date for the flood of around 5,000 years ago, which agrees fairly well with the Biblical chronology (see Whitelaw, "Time, Life, and History in the Light of 15,000 Radiocarbon Dates", in "Speak to the Earth").

No there wasn't. There is no evidence supporting a global flood. However, since the flood story in the bible was taken from an older Babalonian flood myth depicted in the Gilgamesh epic research has been done in that area. What they found is that there was a massive flood in between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers earlier than the Babalonian cultures rise. The Gilgamest/Noah myth may be an exageration of this event.

Yeah there is proof in the bible. God created the flood, which last 40 days and night. Noah built the ark, and warn everyone what was coming. When the water levels started getting higher, They scream for noah to help them. but it was too late. Rember he two of the same kind of animals with him.
He sail the ark along with his family. He send out the bird, dove sparrow, I can't think of which bird. First time, it came back with nothing. Second time, it came back with an olive branch. Then he knew, the water was going down.
God promise, that he will not flood the earth again, by showing his promise. He created the rainbow, thats why we see a rainbow sometimes after it rain.

Well....research shows there have been some really big floods over the eons. For early man, a major flood could easily have seemed like the entire world was flooded at once, but I don't think that's the case...just lots of major floods over time in different areas.

No of course not. there would be evidence and no such evidence has EVER been found. When pressed about the evidence the apologists will usually yell at you and walk away.
There is NO evidence or proof of a worldwide flood. Period.

Oh and eyelovesjesus, thanks for the laugh! If you were to take 5 minutes to actually research the LIES surrounding the flood myth instead of cutting and pasting from creationist websites, you wouldn't be seen as the fool you are. Wouldn't that be a nice change?

There's not enough water on the planet to cause such a thing to happen. Also, if you think a rikety boat made out of would could survive a flooded planet, then you really do believe in imaginary characters. With no land to absorb the wave energy, then no ship in the worlds navy could withstand those seas.

While the Bible refers to the "Great Flood" there's no reason to believe that it did not happen, once and I would say many more times than once.

There's layer of setiment everywhere, now in rock formations. To "prove" that at one time all the earth was flood, is impossible, but to say everywhere was flood at some time, is easy.

What one?

There is proof any place on earth has been submerged many times...all at once? Probably not but who could tell.

There is this HUGE crater called the gulf of Mexico. The meteor that impacted there probably sent out a tsunami big enough to flood the whole earth.

Yes, in Genesis. Geological evidence is everywhere, but until
one is born again (read the New Testament) you will not truly
believe. See link below for specifics on this issue.
