"Eternity in their Hearts:Startling Evidence of Belief in the One True God in Hundreds of Cultures Throughout the World " by Don Richardson.
Like any book on religion, objective OR subjective, it's author is coming at the subject with a particular point of view. This book advocates respect for all people truly seeking God, and shows how even someone with strong belief can benefit and learn from someone who does not share that.
By the way, the author has first-hand experience with people from New Guinea who used to be involved in cannibalism. He even found a way to be sensitive and respectful to members of THIS culture, to the benefit of all parties involved in the encounter. His book about that "Peace Child" is another worthwhile read--very moving.

Go to any college bookstore and get the World Religions textbook. Nothing in this world is completely unbiased but a textbook on World Religions has the least bias you can find.

I can think of a couple:
Mankind's Search for God (published by Jehovah's Witnesses)
Religion in America (or Religions of America) by Leo Ralston
Neither one covers ALL religions, both give a good synopsis of major religious groups.

While much of what is on the attached website is subjective, they do contain links to the religion's adherents as well. I like it because is contains info on every religion or cult that I can think of.
